We are a non-profit risk management firm that specializes in disaster preparedness for communities, small business and non-profit organizations. We are fully funded from corporate and private donations as well as the pro-bono work that is supplied by our network of professional consultants. We provide a compliment of services including risk assessmet, insurance reviews, development of emergency response and disaster recovery/business continuity plans.
Disaster events are unpredictable, random, and in some cases devastating. Earthquakes, storms, floods, fires, civil unrest and even terrorist attacks can occur with little or no warning. Life can be lost, business disrupted and livelihoods affected within minutes or hours of a natural, man made, political or technological disaster.
While the risk of disaster can not be eliminated it can be effectively managed through the application of three key elements - insurance, prevention and recovery planning. Independently each of these elements has limitations; however combined they provide a fundamental safety net for your organization.
